Beautiful cafe food, dogs allowed, best view of any cafe anywhere, well worth the small walk from the car park
Love this place, fab bacon rolls and cream teas. My whole family visit on different occasions and make each other jealous with a 'cake with a view' picture. Nothing fancy just good value food with a great view.
The Jam Pot is an experience and institution. It is just there above the beach. Perfect for a quick ice lolly or perhaps a cream tea refuel post whatever watersport takes your fancy... crab fishing, rock pooling, quick skinny dip, body boarding, surfing, paddle boarding, wind surfing, or perhaps even a wee kite boarding....So from there, you can sit and gaze upon the stunning scene of your water exploits... soaking up the last of the sun shine.It's not perhaps the most expansive nor 5 * of menus, but it has a charm about it that is worth experiencing.
3 cheese toasties and 3 milkshakes - 14.50. Can't argue with that! Sat outside in the sun and wind with beautiful views over the sea and coastline. Had the coffee and walnut cake (1.50) and a mug of tea (1). Lovely moist cake. Scones looked amazing too. Had proper ice cream too. No toilets but there are some public ones about 100m down towards the beach.
Amazing little gem of a place, super cup of tea & cheese n ham/tomato toasties. Sat outside soaking up the sun, atmosphere & the view. Friendly & welcoming staff. Reasonable prices, seating inside & out. Highly recommended.
