So far away from anything, service was horrific. Near impossible to get our key for the challett we booked in. Reception wasn't open to give our key back in the morning. However the bar was a laugh and seems good for the kids.
Lovely family run site, very clean. Great to see the owners interacting with guests and having fun as they worked. Had some brilliant entertainment on at night but then some really bad ones but I'm sure they will work that out in time, wouldn't stop me going back tho as I had a lovely nine days there. Had some problems with the pools heating but again a lovely pool when it was warm with a great sun trap balcony above the pool where u could have a drink.Drink prices are very reasonable. Pitch was lovely and enough room for caravan,awning and car. They also have a lovely stream running through the site, toilets and showers was fine except for the other persons shower water running into mine ( thankfully it was my daughter's). Games room was fine but really needs more to do in there. Shop tho was terrible, worst shop I've ever been to on a site, we normally shop on site but really sold next to nothing. Had to go into hayle for shopping trips. But all in all I had a brilliant time and would return ... thank u calloose !!
Great site. Not overrun with kids. Good evening entertainment and really nice staff. Reasons I'm not giving 5 stars is because we had a motorhome and weren't told of a service point so assumed there wasn't one until we found it on the last day of purchase holiday. There is no detailed site map so you will need to have a walk around the site to explore the facilities.
My family and friends have just had an amazing meal in the calloose restaurant, well presented and delicious steak with the best risotto I have tasted. The cajan chicken burger is also recommended. So filling sadly no room for sweets! Warren and staff provide excellent service with a smile
Just coming to the end of a 2 week stay at Calloose. It's been such a wonderful holiday for our family. Our children have made many friends, they have been able to have a sense of freedom on this site, playing with friends until late at night and we know they are safe as we can here them wherever they are. It's not a high octane park like Haven etc but that suits us perfectly. The facilities are all clean and appear to be maintained well. The pool has been refreshing to say the least during the heatwave. We also love the fact that we are in a central location too. The owners are friendly and welcoming and we wish them all the very best in their venture. This is the first park we can envisage returning to for many years to come.
