I found this a very handy store when I was on holiday last Christmas. The store had everything I needed and it was close to where I was staying. The staff there were friendly and happy to answers any questions I had about the area. Will definitely revisit when given the chance.
I am a local, which means this store is very helpful for me. I can always find what I am looking for, as there is a wide range of stock available. Additionally, it is located next to a camp site and a five minute walk from the beach, making it a convenient store for those on holiday. The staff are friendly, approachable and always willing to help, making the experience pleasant. I've read a rather disheartening review about this store, pointing out the 'rudeness' of the woman who owns it. However, I know that to the local customers, and to those who have gotten to know the owner, would know that she is the loveliest woman who always has a happy smile. So it is a shame that people pass quick judgement and then decide to write angrily about it online to reflect badly on the store. Little stores like this are already struggling against the big companies, therefore all support to little local shops is a good thing.
absolutly brilliant little shop, always helpful, and happy to help, very polite, and welcoming.Have all essentials you need at good prices, excellent opening hours...and further more mr stubbs from what i hear and understand you was the 1 that was rude to our shop keeper who just so happens to be a friend of the family and there was another customer stood outside the shop waiting which you could'nt have the time or patience to do we have lived on this estate for some time and use our store at least a couple times a day and never known there keepers to be rude or nasty to anyone so your in the wrong nobody else. as the saying goes patience is a virtue...............
Avoid at all costs - the rudest shopkeeper in the world!If you are the owner and you are an oriental woman, then this is about you - you are the rudest person I have ever met and you really shouldn't be in retail. however, if you are the owner and you employ an oriental woman, then you might want to reconsider her employment status when you read the following!On my arrival at the shop, the door was closed, despite it being 10.30am and, that it was displaying an 'OPEN' sign.I tried the door to find it locked - at the same time the aforementioned woman appeared at the other side and whilst screaming abuse at me (the customer?) she unlocked it.I was taken aback somewhat by this outburst, and tried to calmly explain that I was simply trying the door as I had no idea she had locked it. I suggested that she might consider changing the sign to 'CLOSED' or put up a note the next time she locks it and was simply stunned when she replied, "Get out, I'm not serving you".! Absolutely amazing and totally uncalled for.
