Had a brilliant short Tuesday to Friday break. Can't fault the Penellen at all. You can see why it has won so many awards. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for our walks. Thanks to all involved.

I arrived travel worn and weary (and close to tears if I'm honest) because this was my first experience of travelling alone and after 30 plus years of marriage I was a fish out of water. Barbara was so kind and really went the extra mile to make me feel welcome and settled. From then on it was plain sailing and I had a fantastic time exploring Cornwall knowing that I had this beautiful haven to return to after each adventure. My room was absolutely gorgeous as was the rest of the B&B. Thank you so much Barbara, you really made my time in Cornwall the best it could have been. Would love to come back one day (with husband in tow!).
