Cheap parking, would recommend the app to pay, as actually pretty good. Massive queues in peak hours, but staff manage it ok. Only 10 mins into St Ives, and is pretty scenic, sit on right side for best views in.
Plenty of parking, 2.80 for the day, you can pay via parking app on Android or Apple. Easy to find and much more manageable that driving into St. Ives and parking!
Definitely use this park and ride for St Ives rather than trying to park in the town.
Staying in Hayle, very windy day, local person recommended we go to St. Ives for more sheltered beach and use Park & Ride.Few minute drive from Hayle, plenty of parking spaces, sheltered by trees, 2.80 for day, train 4 adult, 2 child, 8 family return, trains ever half hour, last return 10:30pm, 5mile short journey friendly helpful staff, comfortable train.Pretty views, St Ives station next to it's most sheltered family friendly beach and short walk to shops, galleries and other beaches.Loved St Ives and the Park & Ride just added to a wonderful day. Highly recommend.
We have tended to park in town and walk or bus down (and up) the hill. Tried this last year and were really impressed. Train hugs the coast so the occasional breathtaking view, and arrives a short walk from town centre.
