We went to Charlies Plaice (Love the name) while on holiday in 2018.We had some excellent food from here which tasted great and was very reasonably priced. The shop is clean and you can tell its well looked after. The staff are well presented and very polite. Even when there is a customer like me winding them up asking for batter only in the middle of the sausagethey played along and we had a good laugh together. When I come back next year this is our stop for dinner on the first night. Keep up the Excellent work!

Picked up cod and chips and sausage and chips while on holiday in Hayle after reading lots of good reviews. The cod was excellent, good size and nicely cooked as was the sausage. The chips tasted nice but were a little too greasy and a bit dark but thats my preference, the price was fair for the quality and quantity of food so would definitely visit again while staying in Hayle. Nice friendly ladies serving and plenty of locals eating which is a good sign!
Fantastic freshly cooked fish and chips with cheerful friendly staff worth the wait as because of the fact food is cooked to order and gets extremely busy during the summer period..
