Got to be one of the best around, if not The Best. I travel from Camborne for their XL haddock. Feeds me and my wife with ease. The batter is really excellent too, possibly because it's straight out of the drier and wrapped, not sitting around
Traditional chippy in resedential area of Hayle. Well worth seeking out. Very busy so fish and chips fresh and carefully cooked. XL haddock is a whopper!
It is a great chip shop but they forgot our fish and although they promised us extra's next time there were none although they took it off the bill but we paid for it last time anyway its just annoying as we live so far away and my family had to go without the fish so all my dad had was chips...! I am annoyed that plus there chips prices have gone up (however not permanently) and we paid the price for them not packing the fish with extra petrol and diesel as we had to go back to get another meal next week!! Its like they just forgot the fish intentionally to make us come back...
Brilliant value. Off the beaten track but well worth it. Delicious fish and copious amounts of chips. Parking can be a challenge at very busy times and they're currently cash only.
