I.ve been struggling to find a decent fish and chips in Cornwall but Sanders could be one of the best.Good portions and very tasty .
Lovely view of the harbour. Easy parking at nearby Asda. Airy and efficient.
Gluten free batter available here. Its cooked in the same oil as the regular batter, but unless you're super sensitive/celiac, this may not be a problem. Still yummy and good chips, not very greasy (unless you like them that way!)
Easily the best fish and chips we've eaten anywhere.Chips were perfect, full, not too big and a light crisp on the outside, the fish batter was amazing. Very crispy and no stodgy underside, it was perfect all round.The restaurant was great with really friendly staff. We went there the day we arrived and made sure we visited again because we loved it. If it was open Sunday's I'd be there now
Best fish & chips I've had in a long while. The Cod was melt in your mouth with a beautiful crispy batter. The chips were light and fluffy and tasted like the old days, proper seaside food. My daughters scampi was juicy and succulent and she loved it. We went back the next day for seconds, it was yummy. The young lad serving us was a pleasure, even though he's a Spurs support. Try it you won't regret it.
