Had to wait half hour for food to arrive before one of us went to ask if they'd forgotten us but we're told we don't serve food till after 12, we did order after 12 so she went off and never came back with an answer but food was good when it came.
The food takes a while to come out, and the other people I was with said their food was a little on the cold side. However I for one had a lovely salad and coconut rice pudding, and the manager there came over and apologised greatly for the food and gave us all FREE desserts!!! I think we were all very happy with the service :)
Waited at the sign that said to wait to be seated for no one to see to us when there was 2 people behind the bar who could clearly see we were waiting. So went over to the bar and waited while another guy was being dealt with, just to be completely ignored by the people behind the bar, clearly they knew we were there as they looked directly at us. So after waiting for about 15 minutes we left (clearly they weren't busy so long time to wait just to find out which one of the many empty tables we could sit at), awful service would never go back.
Terrible quality food. Steak burger was like a dry leather boot and we had to wait over 30 minutes for two basic dishes. Usually pretty good but have had a few dicey experiences so will be avoiding from now on.
The worst part was the waiting - 30 minutes turned into 45. However, when our meals arrived, they were hot and delicious, although I would have liked a bit more cranberry on my festive burger. My husband really enjoyed his beef and stout pie. One thing I would mention is that if you have young children, be careful of the high chairs. If any pressure is put on the tray, it will come away from the high chair and could lead to injuries or falls.
