Lovely home cooked food at reasonable prices. Good beer. But if tall mind your head as there are some very low beams !
Great pub grub. Dog friendly. Particularly recommend the pork steaks. My friends would probably recommend the spare ribs too.
An Absolutely fabulous pub.Over 400 years old and haunted.If you like your Historic places, then this is a must see.Small Bar, but well stocked. A varied menu + a specials board. Food is amazing. I had the Sirloin steak and it melted in the mouth...yum,yum. Good PricesIf you are 6ft and over be aware of Low Beams.
Good food and atmosphere.. plenty of choice on beers..reasonable prices.. it's a quaint place..well worth a visit..and a tip book a table as it's very popular.. and last but not least the staff and landlord are fantastic they are friendly and will get anything you want if possible " a great team that work hard.. we will be back next year's holiday's. .
My wife visited with another couple. Table booked for us. Nice quiet part of the pub for adults only. Amazing meal. Large portion for each of our meals. The young woman who greeted us was very welcoming. I forgot how low the beams were - just once. Loved the food and the atmosphere. Can't believe I haven't been there in 15 year especially as I only live 20 minutes away!
