Attended 80th birthday celebration there. Great food and service. Highly recommended.
We were there 2 celebrate a Birthday in the family. 12 of us & mix of ages. Staff coped beautifully making sure everyone received food at same time. Food really tasty & plenty of it. Good menu 4 mix of tastes. Interesting old Watermill building with machinery still visible. Would recommend.
After reading the good reviews and just staying down the road we thought we would try this pub. But I found our experience very poor, After walking into this pub we are met by all the locals crowding the bar. The barmaid wasn't in sight and we was waiting around for her to appear, I previously booked our table for the evening. The Food was alright, staff wasn't really friendly/welcoming. Atmosphere was dull. Pricey food considering it wasn't that great.Personality we wont be returning.
Great for young families in the summer months. A really good selection of reasonably priced meals. Lovely garden area with plenty of seating. Cozey in the winter with log fire in the friendly bar.
This pub was down the road from where we stayed at St Ives holiday park. Hadn't booked a table but the lady found us a table.Staff were friendly and polite.. My husband had the liver a d he had a massive ate full. It was very tasty. If we go back to St Ives we would go there again. .
