Lunch with friends. Excellent food with fantastic friendly atmosphere. Hosts were so welcoming and I couldn't find a single thing to criticize. Made to feel extremely welcome. Perfect for lunch, dinner or just a drink at the bar. Will definitely be going there again.

It never disappoints. The Turnpike Connor Down Sunday carvery is in our opinion without equal (and we have had most in this wonderful County of Cornwall).The food is sumptuous and well cooked, the beef to die for. Add to this a homely pub with pleasent hosts and you have the complete package. Terrific
