This restaurant was always my favourite and that's why I decided to spend my 60th birthday there. The table they gave us was uncomfortable and in the main area of the pub, The waiter was so miserable and the food was no where near as good as it used to be. I was really upset and disappointed.
Nice pup, good food, plenty of room, really good outdoor area, especially on a nice sunny day, good seating, children's play area and lovely scenery.

Fabulous location for people interested in bird watching. Rooms with sea view are virtually in the water and look out over the estuary and its thousands of birds. Room rather small but comfortable. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Evening meal good standard pub food. Friendly owner.
We had called in at The Old Quay house last year whilst staying nearby. We liked the look of it and booked to stay there for two nights. Everything was perfect (except the weather)! Lovely room, exceptional vista, good food and drink in a lovely bar/restaurant and nice people to boot! Will definitely stay again!
